Since it’s
inception in the year 1984 we have been planning the activities
of the institute for the year. Every year in the month of December
we give you the details of events planned for the next year. This
is the 21st year that we are handing over this calendar of the activities
for the next year i.e. the year 2006.
There are also
many other activities during the year, which we try to inform you
from time to time.
The advances
in the Scientific knowledge is helping us solved many riddles in
the field of Indology. Recent Genetic study is challenging the conventional
theories of Aryan invasion. This will revolutionize the study methods
and models based on absurd theories of influences or contributions
from the western civilizations in case of every creative work on
Indian civilization from arts, commerce to language. I am sure researchers
would take note of these newer facts while pursuing their respective
research work.
We have added
thousands of new books to our library. We have also received many
paper manuscripts during last year.
