Imagination and Creativity with reference to Architecture and  Town planning.  Shri V.L. Date  Independent Research Worker, Pune

l. Background : A Dictionary meaning : ability to creat, creation of the mind, survey. Creativity : Production .This paper is dedicated to my late father S.R. Date and Architect (887 to 1965) from J.J. School of Arts and my Professor G.B. Mahtre, my Third year Design Guru (1952-53) . The Appendix
'A' & 'B' gives as to how they have kindled my imagination and creativity in Architecutre Town plg. So also my perception is getting enriched towards. T'his aspect though I am not in active Architcuture and Town Planning practice after my premature retirement in Defence Service . This is simply because whenever opportunity is seen only due to enquiry I automatically rush to place my point of view. 

2. Aim :  Is to explain Imagination and creativity with reference to Architecture and Town Plg. in thisAugust Gathering. 

3. Constraints /Scope : 
Appendix 'C' covers the following aspects of this paper subject (i) Historical Back Ground till date explaining as to how five components-Earth, Water, Sun, Air & Space-in relation science affect the living of mankind in respect of Architecture /Town Plg. (ü) There is no possibility, now, to creat anything without taking into consideration latest Scientific/Tech. developments for
any project. (üi) Only point that is sometimes missed is human element, its Natural liking for beauty , imaginations, in short aesthetics is missed in the bargain. So the factors that affect are explained below. 

4. Reason :  (i)  Approach to Environment and in that aspect regarding Pollution (ü) its effect on health details regarding its solution and briefly claborated in Appendix 'D' author being my grandson, Shri Sandeep Lale/his wife Sau. Geeta 

5. Recommendation : All development at schemes must be village oriented, comparatively seing pollution free, 6. Conclusion : Though is that have emerged through my imagination are placed for consideration in respect Architecture/Town Plg. creativity. If  I know the answer to your query, I would be delighted to do so , nevertheless any one amongst all, who having Pondered over it may like to contribute, this will naturally give strength to this subject and hence I so conclude.
